Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using EconHub. By creating an account or purchasing a subscription, you agree to be bound by them.

1. Who we are

EconHub is operated by Econ Hub UK. You can contact us at [email protected].

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account on EconHub. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase a subscription or make any payment on EconHub. If you are under 18, you may only use a paid account where a parent or guardian has made the purchase on your behalf.

3. The service

EconHub provides online revision materials, past paper resources, grade calculators, and topic predictions for students studying A-Level Economics (Edexcel 9EC0). Access to certain content is gated by subscription tier.

We reserve the right to update, modify, or remove content at any time without notice. We aim to keep all materials accurate and up to date but make no guarantee of completeness or accuracy.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.

You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent access restrictions, share your account with others, or use another person's account.

5. Subscriptions and payment

We offer the following paid plans:

  • EconHub Essentials – £12.99/month, recurring. Provides access to all core revision materials, past papers, and the grade calculator.
  • Exam Sprint Access – £9.99/month, recurring. A limited-time promotional rate providing identical access to EconHub Essentials. The promotional price may be withdrawn at any time; existing subscribers will not be affected until their next renewal.
  • Premium – £19.99 one-time payment. Provides all EconHub Essentials access plus topic predictions, historical exam analysis, and additional learning materials, with no expiry.

All prices include VAT where applicable. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details.

Recurring subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You may cancel at any time through the customer portal accessible from your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

6. Refund policy

All purchases are non-refundable.

EconHub provides digital content. Under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have the right to cancel a digital content purchase within 14 days unless you have agreed to waive that right in exchange for immediate access. By completing a purchase on EconHub and accessing the content, you expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right to cancel.

If you believe there is a genuine error with your payment or you have been charged incorrectly, contact us at [email protected] and we will investigate.

7. Topic predictions disclaimer

Topic predictions available on EconHub are based on analysis of historical exam papers by previous students and contributors. They are provided for informational and revision-guidance purposes only.

Predictions are not guarantees. EconHub UK has no affiliation, partnership, or involvement with Pearson Edexcel, any UK awarding organisation, or any examination board. We are entirely independent. The accuracy of any prediction cannot be guaranteed and you should not rely on predictions as a substitute for thorough revision across the full specification.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Copy, reproduce, redistribute, or resell any EconHub content without written permission
  • Attempt to access content or accounts you are not authorised to access
  • Use automated tools to scrape or download content
  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or its servers

9. Intellectual property

All content on EconHub – including revision notes, essay plans, diagrams, predictions, and supporting materials – is the intellectual property of Econ Hub UK unless otherwise stated. Nothing in these terms grants you any ownership rights over that content.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Econ Hub UK shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the service, including exam results, academic outcomes, or reliance on topic predictions.

Our total liability to you in connection with these terms shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if we believe you have breached these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting [email protected].

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email or by displaying a notice on the site. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
